When I Am With You

When I am with you, we stay up all night.
When you’re not here, I can’t go to sleep.
Praise God for these two insomnias!
And the difference between them.
The minute I heard my first love story
I started looking for you, not knowing
how blind that was.
Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere.
They’re in each other all along.
We are the mirror as well as the face in it.
We are tasting the taste this minute
of eternity. We are pain
and what cures pain, both. We are
the sweet cold water and the jar that pours.
I want to hold you close like a lute, so we can cry out with loving.
You would rather throw stones at a mirror?
I am your mirror, and here are the stones.

by  Rumi
The Privileged Lovers

The moon has become a dancer
at this festival of love.
This dance of light,

This sacred blessing,
This divine love,
beckons us
to a world beyond
only lovers can see
with their eyes of fiery passion.

They are the chosen ones
who have surrendered.
Once they were particles of light
now they are the radiant sun.

They have left behind
the world of deceitful games.
They are the privileged lovers
who create a new world
with their eyes of fiery passion.

by Rumi

A White Rose

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.
But I send you a cream-white rosebud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips

by John Boyle O’Reilly
I Carry Your Heart

i carry your heart with me
(i carry it inmy heart)
i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

by E. E. Cummings
Dream Love

I DID not deem it half so sweet
To feel thy gentle hand,
As in a dream thy soul to greet
Across wide leagues of land.

Untouched more near to draw to you
Where, amid radiant skies,
Glimmered thy plumes of iris hue,
My Bird of Paradise.

Let me dream only with my heart,
Love first, and after see:
Know thy diviner counterpart
Before I kneel to thee.

So in thy motions all expressed
Thy angel I may view:
I shall not on thy beauty rest,
But beauty's self in you.

by George William Russell

They Flee From Me

They flee from me that sometime did me seek
With naked foot, stalking in my chamber.
I have seen them gentle, tame, and meek,
That now are wild and do not remember
That sometime they put themself in danger
To take bread at my hand; and now they range,
Busily seeking with a continual change.

Thanked be fortune it hath been otherwise
Twenty times better; but once in special,
In thin array after a pleasant guise,
When her loose gown from her shoulders did fall,
And she me caught in her arms long and small;
Therewithall sweetly did me kiss
And softly said, "Dear heart, how like you this?"

It was no dream: I lay broad waking.
But all is turned thorough my gentleness
Into a strange fashion of forsaking;
And I have leave to go of her goodness,
And she also, to use newfangleness.
But since that I so kindly am served
I would fain know what she hath deserved.

Dance In The Moonlight With Me

Dance in the moonlight that shows me your charms
Dance in the moonlight with me
Read me the chapters of this fairy tale book
And dance in the moonlight with me

Our glances together sings an island reprise
A paradise unveiled has come true
When my arms hold you it's really no surprise
Love dances on a musical scale for two

Dance in the moonlight that shows me your charms
Dance in the moonlight with me
Read me the chapters of this fairy tale book
And dance in the moonlight with me

Worries and cares seem to have all taken wing
Since you appeared on my horizon so new
Now that your moon and mine are finally one
A paradise unveiled has come true

Dance in the moonlight that shows me your charms
Dance in the moonlight with me
Read me the chapters of this fairy tale book
And dance in the moonlight with me

Love Song Dreamer

Can you dream a dream of a love song for me
And pretend it's still the same as it used to be
When we loved and lived our dream in old Maui
And sang those songs of love for you and me

Love song dreamer, dream a love song for two
Love song dreamer, I love you as I used to do
No pretending, our love was real in old Maui
Now I'm spending, time dreaming of you and me

Does it seem like love was just a dream of mind
And my pretending of love was only marking time
When we loved and lived our dream in old Maui
And sang those songs of love for you and me

Love song dreamer, dream a love song for two
Love song dreamer, I love you as I used to do
No pretending, our love was real in old Maui
Now I'm spending, time dreaming of you and me

Can you dream a dream of a love song for me
And not pretend, but share love as it used to be
When we loved and lived our dream in old Maui
And sang those songs of love for you and me
Love song dreamer, dream a love song for me

Pretty Island Baby - My Honolulu Girl

Pretty island baby - my Honolulu girl
When I saw you baby - you set my heart awhirl
Remember - I think it was September
You smiled - and I was in the clouds
Pretty island baby - you stand out from the crowds

Honolulu baby - my pretty island girl
Don't you just say maybe - don't make my moon turn blue
Will you say - I'm not just your castaway
Be true - I want to love you too
Honolulu baby - I love you, yes I do

Pretty island baby - my Honolulu girl
When you kiss me baby - you know you light my world
I love you - I'm sure you know I do
Kiss me - and say you love me too
Pretty island baby - please say you love me too

Honolulu baby - my pretty island girl
When we go 'a dancing - the guys are all 'a glancing
Waikiki - steel guitar and ukulele tune
We'll see - the golden Honolulu moon
Honolulu baby - you're my pretty island girl

Manoa Valley Rainbows

In the valley of the rainbows Manoa's beauty meets the sky
Like violins and island songs making hearts of lovers sigh
Hawaii has a rainbow in the valley of Manoa where I long
To say how much I love you with this rainbow island song

I dreamed of a rainbow on a dark and cloudy day
You came along and love chased the clouds away
Kahalaopuna smiled down on me and you that day
In the valley of the rainbows our love will forever stay

In the valley of the rainbows, Kahalaopuna smiles for me
Through the clouds and warm Summer rain so Heavenly
I'll buy for you a rainbow and we'll sing Manoa's melody
See the colors of the setting sun paint a lover's symphony

I dreamed of a rainbow on a dark and cloudy day
You came along and love chased the clouds away
Kahalaopuna smiled down on me and you that day
In the valley of the rainbows our love will forever stay
Manoa valley rainbows shine your love on us today

Under Honolulu Moon

Like the gentle winds that blow there, is my love for you.
Hand in hand we strolled the sands, my love's still true.
Honolulu bay is calling, me back to you.
Beams of love are under, Honolulu Moon.

Honolulu Moon, I'll come back to you.
Honolulu Moon, you'll be there too.
Gentle winds are calling, me back to you.
Beams of love are under, Honolulu Moon.

On the isle they call Oahu, a flower for your hair.
Gentle winds and mem'ries, waiting for me there.

Beams of love are under, Honolulu Mooon

Everlasting Love

What is it about you?
That makes my stomach turn
My heart beat fast
My mouth curl

Is it your beautiful smile?
Your sexy lips
The sweetness of your voice
Or just what whisper me

The many things we had and shared
The sunsets
The candlelight dinners
Our passion and love

The ways we talked and laughed
Were only dreams before we met
Now turned into reality
How I wish this will last for eternity

by Gary R. Hess
You're Beauty

Your short blonde hair
The way it floats in the air

Your smile
And the way it makes me feel agile

Your luscious lips
And I can't forget those wonderful hips

Your eyes are so cute
I don't think anyone would dispute

Your cheerful cheeks
Make me where I can't even speak

Your beauty
Is truly like no other

That's why I want you
And no other

by Gary R. Hess
Why I Love You

I've never seen you
Or touched your skin
I've never felt your lips
Or held you tight
But I know I love you

Not because of the way you look
Or because of that sexy voice
Not because of the things you say
But because of whom you are

When we meet I will kiss you
And hold you all night

I love everything about you
Because it's you

by Gary R. Hess
You're The One

Is it possible
That someone like you
Could complete me?

You're the only one I want
The only one I think about
The only one I truly love

You've treated me wrong sometimes
As I've done the same
But everyone makes mistakes
And your not one of mine

Be with me for the rest of time
I'll give you my heart
And you give me your mind

by Gary R. Hess
Serenade

Three paces down the shore, low sounds the lute,
The better that my longing you may know;
I’m not asking you to come,
But—can’t you go?

Three words, “I love you,” and the whole is said—
The greatness of it throbs from sun to sun;
I’m not asking you to walk,
But—can’t you run?

Three paces in the moonlight’s glow I stand,
And here within the twilight beats my heart.
I’m not asking you to finish,
But—to start.

by Djuna Barnes
Sonnet 40: Take all my loves, my love,
yea, take them all

Take all my loves, my love, yea, take them all:
What hast thou then more than thou hadst before?
No love, my love, that thou mayst true love call—
All mine was thine before thou hadst this more.
Then if for my love thou my love receivest,
I cannot blame thee for my love thou usest;
But yet be blamed if thou this self deceivest
By wilful taste of what thyself refusest.
I do forgive thy robb’ry, gentle thief,
Although thou steal thee all my poverty;
And yet love knows it is a greater grief
To bear love’s wrong than hate’s known injury.
Lascivious grace, in whom all ill well shows,
Kill me with spites, yet we must not be foes.

by William Shakespeare
Song: to Celia
[“Drink to me only with thine eyes”]

Drink to me only with thine eyes,
         And I will pledge with mine;
Or leave a kiss but in the cup,
And I’ll not look for wine.
The thirst that from the soul doth rise
         Doth ask a drink divine;
But might I of Jove’s nectar sup,
I would not change for thine.

I sent thee late a rosy wreath,
         Not so much honouring thee
As giving it a hope, that there
         It could not withered be.
But thou thereon didst only breathe,
         And sent’st it back to me;
Since when it grows, and smells, I swear,
         Not of itself, but thee.

by Ben Jonson
You are my queen

You are my queen,
And I’ll serve you with all of my heart,
I’ll worship you forever,
We shall never be apart.
My heart’s fondest desires, you so perfectly fulfill,
I love you with every cell in my body, and I always will.
You are my world, my center, my life,
And if you will have me, I hope you’ll be my wife!
I fell in love with you yesterday,
And I love you so much more today,
I can only imagine,
How much more I will love you tomorrow.
So long did I dream of the perfect girl,
And now I realize it’s you,
But you’re so much more than I imagined,
Thanks for making my dreams come true!
I was once asked what my dreams were to be,
And now I have an answer: to have you here beside me!
The best decision I ever made,
Was to let my soul discover you.
For always knew I was made for someone,
And now I know who!

A Cup Of Tears

A cup of tears, a pool of smiles,
Our love is an adventure, such a crazy ride.
Each day not quite the same, always something new,
I never knew love, until I found you.
So many emotions, all mixed into one,
It’s quite the journey, but oh so fun.
We’re a little bit playful, a small bit of sad,
Sometimes we’re naughty, but mostly we’re glad.
It’s all so strange, everything is surreal,
The experiences are amazing, there’s so much to feel.
Fear grips my heart when I think about losing you,
Yet I still give in to my heart, there’s nothing else I can do.
This must be what love is, so strange and so new,
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything, I want nothing but you.

Short Love Poem

You came to my life and the sun began to shine,
I was so giddy and happy to know that you’re mine.
I still can’t believe that you choose to be here,
I still have goosebumps every time you draw near.
You tickle my soul and make my heart race,
Forever and always I will picture your face.
This message I’m sending is only for you,
And now I hope you know my love is so true.

Your Love Light

This love light of yours, where did it begin

Truthfully your beauty rises from within

This glorious soul of yours

Blessed am I ,your smile always restores

This love light of theirs, what is it's origin

Truthfully their beauty rises from within

These children of yours

Blessed are they, your touch always restores

This love light of mine, it shines in my grin

Truthfully my beauty rises from within

This family of ours

Blessed are we, for all your healing powers

Meet Me Darling

Meet me darling, soon shall the stars set in
Take my hand in dance, let's make the world spin
Beneath the branches, can we find our favorite spot
Beside the stream, will a kiss stolen
Whisper a deeper love thought
Pleading for secret moments like this
Do you know your smile creates this state of Bliss
Praying for countless nights like these
Always shall we meet amongst the cypress trees
Just a few minutes longer I say
Tonight is the hour for lovers to play

by David Norman
Candle Sticks

A few candle sticks, a couple roses in my hand
The rest of this glorious night, follow the tender sentiment
my heart has planned
Some sounds of the true trumpet master
From the artistry of Chris botti shall
This love night begin much faster
Some soft kisses I desire from you
Also this night, let's embrace the ocean view
Before the clock closes in on eleven
Taste the Cabernet bouquet of this bottle of three thirty seven
Before the clock strikes it's
 midnight Declaration
Let's complete this morning's
 moment of flirtation

by David Norman
Coastal Kiss

The misty salt air passes through
This open patio door, reminds me what is true
This is your great desire,
Coastal breezes ,crashing waves
The day's worries sure to expire
The candle, it's flickering teases the darkness
The winds of California, let them be your soul witness
Coolness of the night sets passion ablaze
Tasting and touching you, this is my favorite maze
We are one once again
Your sexiness mesmerizes, gently
Shall I soothe your lovely skin

In My Dreams

I see you in my dreams, but when I wake up, I am faced with reality.
For life isn’t really what it seems.

You’re a long way away from home
And I can only hope that soon you’re return back to me.
My love is what you truly own.

When I wake up from my dreams,
How real it seems
You aren’t available to comfort me,
But soon I hope that you will be.
No one can ever understand
Just how tight you hold my heart in your hands.

Not being here with me right now is truly your only crime
Others in your life are going to come and go,
But the love I have for you is true and I’m sure you already know.

I may not be rich or the handsomest one,
But I love you so much, you are my golden sun.
Every time you call, you light up my life.
Yet, every time you leave, I’m stabbed with a knife.
You are my moon, you are my starts.
Being with you will come soon.
So when you sleep, remember this,
No one will ever keep our hearts apart.
Give Me A Moment

Give me a moment or better give me a kiss,
Give me something that will cause me to reminisce.
On every moment that we get to spend with each other,
With you I can’t picture myself with another.

Give me a moment or better give me your heart,
And I’ll give you a love that will never depart.
No matter what happens I will always be there,
With the type of love that shows you I care.

I know that you’ve been hurt many times before,
But give me a moment and walk back through loves door.

There was always something about you that I could never resist,

It might be your touch, your eyes or maybe your kiss.
All I know is that with you I’m caught up in perpetual bliss,
Who would have ever thought that our love would grow like this.

Be the one for me and I will always be the one for you,

Your heart’s been broken in pieces but I’ve got the glue.
Never will you have to worry about being hurt again,
I’m the time that your heart needs to mend
.

Your love penetrates my existence to the depths of my soul,
I’ve argued with time to give us the opportunity to grow old.
Give me a moment to show you that this love will be worth it,
I will do my best to be the type of lover you consider perfect.

Give me a moment and I promise to make it better,
Just give me a moment and I’ll make it last forever.

Love is All

when you hold me like this
so many memories fill my eyes
the first time we kissed
the times we nearly said good-bye
but still here we are
tested and tried and still true
and stronger than we ever knew.

 by Marck Anthony
A Gift Of Love

My gift to you is my love
Given from deep within my heart
It is the best I have to offer
And its yours until this earth we depart

You have captured a part of me
A part so very fragile that I am in fear
For it is my heart I have lost
To you my love, the one I hold most dear

I chose to love you now
With all that I have and all that I am
And I pray that God follows us
To guide our steps as we cross this land

For it is with His blessings
We will live most at peace with each other
For He is the reason after all
We found one another ........ I Love You!

A Kiss To Build A Dream On

Give me a kiss to build a dream on,
And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss.
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this:
A kiss to build a dream on.
Give me a kiss before you leave me,
And my imagination will feed my hungry heart.
Leave me one thing before we part,
A kiss to build a dream on.

When I'm alone with my fancies, I'll be with you,
Weaving romances, making believe they're true.

Give me your lips for just a moment,
And my imagination will make that moment live.
Give me what you alone can give,
A kiss to build a dream on.

 by Louis Armstrong
My Angel

Of that story old, so often told
of the girl so fair and sweet
Her beauty is a rarity
to behold and you have made
my life complete
Your kisses are soft
like the morning dew
Like the black gold hair does shine
Twenty-seven years ago,
on that moonlit night
you became that angel of mine

 by Ronald D. Edwards
Before I Dream...

Sleep is never easy to come by
When there's so much in my head.
I think about you all night long,
Or whenever I'm in bed.

I think about you when I'm stressed out.
I think about you when I'm in doubt.
These thoughts all seem to end the pout;
They turn my declining mood about.

The thoughts of you relax my brain.
They help to cure, to smother pain.
They help to dry my eyes that rain.
They help to keep me a little sane.

I love these thoughts that dance around.
They're like music, what a beautiful sound.
They keep my nights from being gray;
They make me anticipate the end of the day.

And now that I've thought of you all night,
It's time to sleep, to turn off the light.
I no longer lay in a lonely bed,
Because I've got you now: in my head.

Our Paradise

The tropic sun just keeps on shining
The oceans rush to kiss the shore
Like the sun and tide, I want you by my side
Because I will love you evermore

Birds of paradise are winging
In the peaceful skies of blue above
You're the reason why they keep on singing
They know that you're the one I love

Every morning when I awaken on the isle
I wonder what you'll say to make me smile
Just the sight of you, delight of you
Makes this a paradise for two

My heart for you will beat forever
Aloha will always mean hello, goodbye never
Our love will be as bright as the skies
Here on our isle of love, our paradise

My heart for you will beat forever
Aloha will always mean hello, goodbye never
Our love will be as bright as the skies
Here on our isle of love, our paradise

Sonnet 31: Thy bosom is endeared with all hearts…

Thy bosom is endeared with all hearts,
Which I by lacking have supposed dead,
And there reigns love and all love's loving parts,
And all those friends which I thought buried.
How many a holy and obsequious tear
Hath dear religious love stol'n from mine eye,
As interest of the dead, which now appear,
But things removed that hidden in thee lie.
Thou art the grave where buried love doth live,
Hung with the trophies of my lovers gone,
Who all their parts of me to thee did give,
That due of many, now is thine alone.
Their images I loved, I view in thee,
And thou (all they) hast all the all of me.

by William Shakespeare
Sonnet 102: My love is strengthened, though more weak in seeming;...

My love is strengthened, though more weak in seeming;
I love not less, though less the show appear;
That love is merchandized, whose rich esteeming,
The owner's tongue doth publish every where.
Our love was new, and then but in the spring,
When I was wont to greet it with my lays;
As Philomel in summer's front doth sing,
And stops his pipe in growth of riper days:
Not that the summer is less pleasant now
Than when her mournful hymns did hush the night,
But that wild music burthens every bough,
And sweets grown common lose their dear delight.
Therefore like her, I sometime hold my tongue:
Because I would not dull you with my song.

by William Shakespeare
Sonnet XXVII: Naked You Are As Simple as one of your Hands

Naked, you are simple as one of your hands,
Smooth, earthy, small, transparent, round:
You have moonlines, applepathways:
Naked, you are slender as a naked grain of wheat.

Naked, you are blue as the night in Cuba;
You have vines and stars in your hair;
Naked, you are spacious and yellow
As summer in a golden church.

Naked, you are tiny as one of your nails,
Curved, subtle, rosy, till the day is born
And you withdraw to the underground world,

as if down a long tunnel of clothing and of chores:
Your clear light dims, gets dressed, drops its leaves,
And becomes a naked hand again.

by Pablo Neruda
Love, We're Going Home Now

Love, we're going home now,
Where the vines clamber over the trellis:
Even before you, the summer will arrive,
On its honeysuckle feet, in your bedroom.

Our nomadic kisses wandered over all the world:
Armenia, dollop of disinterred honey:
Ceylon, green dove: and the YangTse with its old
Old patience, dividing the day from the night.

And now, dearest, we return, across the crackling sea
Like two blind birds to their wall,
To their nest in a distant spring:

Because love cannot always fly without resting,
Our lives return to the wall, to the rocks of the sea:
Our kisses head back home where they belong

by Pablo Neruda
Sonnet XLII: I Hunt For A Sign Of You

I hunt for a sign of you in all the others,
In the rapid undulant river of women,
Braids, shyly sinking eyes,
Light step that slices, sailing through the foam.

Suddenly I think I can make out your nails,
Oblong, quick, nieces of a cherry:
Then it's your hair that passes by, and I think
I see your image, a bonfire, burning in the water.

I searched, but no one else had your rhythms,
Your light, the shady day you brought from the forest;
Nobody had your tiny ears.

You are whole, exact, and everything you are is one,
And so I go along, with you I float along, loving
A wide Mississippi toward a feminine sea.

by Pablo Neruda
Love

Because of you, in gardens of blossoming
Flowers I ache from the perfumes of spring.
I have forgotten your face, I no longer
Remember your hands; how did your lips
Feel on mine?

Because of you, I love the white statues
Drowsing in the parks, the white statues that
Have neither voice nor sight.

I have forgotten your voice, your happy voice;
I have forgotten your eyes.

Like a flower to its perfume, I am bound to
My vague memory of you. I live with pain
That is like a wound; if you touch me, you will
Make to me an irreperable harm.

Your caresses enfold me, like climbing
Vines on melancholy walls.

I have forgotten your love, yet I seem to
Glimpse you in every window.

Because of you, the heady perfumes of
Summer pain me; because of you, I again
Seek out the signs that precipitate desires:
Shooting stars, falling objects.

by Pablo Neruda
Lovely One

Lovely one,
Just as on the cool stone
Of the spring, the water
Opens a wide flash of foam,
So is the smile of your face,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
With delicate hands and slender feet
Like a silver pony,
Walking, flower of the world,
Thus I see you,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
With a nest of copper entangled
On your head, a nest
The coloUr of dark honey
Where my heart burns and rests,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your eyes are too big for your face,
Your eyes are too big for the earth.

There are countries, there are rivers,
In your eyes,
My country is your eyes,
I walk through them,
They light the world
Through which I walk,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your breasts are like two loaves made
Of grainy earth and golden moon,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
Your waist,
My arm shaped it like a river when
It flowed a thousand years through your sweet body,
Lovely one.

Lovely one,
There is nothing like your hips,
Perhaps earth has
In some hidden place
The curve and the fragrance of your body,
Perhaps in some place,
Lovely one.

Lovely one, my lovely one,
Your voice, your skin, your nails,
Lovely one, my lovely one,
Your being, your light, your shadow,
Lovely one,
All that is mine, lovely one,
All that is mine, my dear,
When you walk or rest,
When you sing or sleep,
When you suffer or dream,
Always,
When you are near or far,
Always,
You are mine, my lovely one,
Always.

by Pablo Neruda
Here I Love You

Here I love you.
In the dark pines the wind disentangles itself.
The moon glows like phosphorous on the vagrant waters.
Days, all one kind, go chasing each other.

The snow unfurls in dancing figures.
A silver gull slips down from the west.
Sometimes a sail. High, high stars.
Oh the black cross of a ship.
Alone.

Sometimes I get up early and even my soul is wet.
Far away the sea sounds and resounds.
This is a port.

Here I love you.
Here I love you and the horizon hides you in vain.
I love you still among these cold things.
Sometimes my kisses go on those heavy vessels
that cross the sea towards no arrival.
I see myself forgotten like those old anchors.

The piers sadden when the afternoon moors there.
My life grows tired, hungry to no purpose.
I love what I do not have. You are so far.
My loathing wrestles with the slow twilights.
But night comes and starts to sing to me.

The moon turns its clockwork dream.
The biggest stars look at me with your eyes.
And as I love you, the pines in the wind
want to sing your name with their leaves of wire.

by Pablo Neruda
So That You Will Hear Me

So that you will hear me
my words
sometimes grow thin

as the tracks of the gulls on the beaches.

Necklace, drunken bell
for your hands smooth as grapes.

And I watch my words from a long way off.
They are more yours than mine.
They climb on my old suffering like ivy.

It climbs the same way on damp walls.
You are to blame for this cruel sport.
They are fleeing from my dark lair.
You fill everything, you fill everything.

Before you they peopled the solitude that you occupy,
and they are more used to my sadness than you are.

Now I want them to say what I want to say to you
to make you hear as I want you to hear me.

The wind of anguish still hauls on them as usual.
Sometimes hurricanes of dreams still knock them over.
You listen to other voices in my painful voice.

Lament of old mouths, blood of old supplications.
Love me, companion. Don't forsake me. Follow me.
Follow me, companion, on this wave of anguish.

But my words become stained with your love.
You occupy everything, you occupy everything.

I am making them into an endless necklace
for your white hands, smooth as grapes.

I Remember You As You Were

I remember you as you were in the last autumn.
You were the grey beret and the still heart.
In your eyes the flames of the twilight fought on.
And the leaves fell in the water of your soul.

Clasping my arms like a climbing plant
the leaves garnered your voice, that was slow and at peace.
Bonfire of awe in which my thirst was burning.
Sweet blue hyacinth twisted over my soul.

I feel your eyes traveling, and the autumn is far off:
Grey beret, voice of a bird, heart like a house
Towards which my deep longings migrated
And my kisses fell, happy as embers.

Sky from a ship. Field from the hills:
Your memory is made of light, of smoke, of a still pond!
Beyond your eyes, farther on, the evenings were blazing.
Dry autumn leaves revolved in your soul.

by Pablo Neruda
It’s good to feel you are close to me

It’s good to feel you are close to me in the night, love,
invisible in your sleep, intently nocturnal,
while I untangle my worries
as if they were twisted nets.

Withdrawn, your heart sails through dream,
but your body, relinquished so, breathes
seeking me without seeing me perfecting my dream
like a plant that seeds itself in the dark.

Rising, you will be that other, alive in the dawn,
but from the frontiers lost in the night,
from the presence and the absence where we meet ourselves,

something remains, drawing us into the light of life
as if the sign of the shadows had sealed
its secret creatures with flame.

The Tone Of Love

Anticipating the sound of your text tone
My heart warms, each moment your thoughts
 pass through this clutched IPhone
Something about that jingle massages my ear
Your digital presence is emotionally transforming,
thus ypur is always near heart
Distance apart, this is no romantic love hindrance
Because I know a sweet tone precedes every love crafted sentence
Soon these travels will circle back around
Soon your lovely face will replace
My favorite sound

Beauty's Halo

Thy beauty hangs around thee like
Splendour around the moon--
Thy voice, as silver bells that strike
Upon...

by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Sonnet. To A Lady Seen For A Few Moments At Vauxhall

Time's sea hath been five years at its slow ebb,
Long hours have to and fro let creep the sand,
Since I was tangled in thy beauty's web,
And snared by the ungloving of thine hand.
And yet I never look on midnight sky,
But I behold thine eyes' well memory'd light;
I cannot look upon the rose's dye,
But to thy cheek my soul doth take its flight.
I cannot look on any budding flower,
But my fond ear, in fancy at thy lips
And hearkening for a love-sound, doth devour
Its sweets in the wrong sense: -- Thou dost eclipse
Every delight with sweet remembering,
And grief unto my darling joys dost bring.

This Heart Of Mine

This heart of mine will never mend
Until I find true love, and then
It will take some time, I know that it's true
For this heart of mine to get over you

Our love was a song that I thought would never end
But something went wrong that I can't comprehend
I gave you my heart and my everything
You tore it apart and broke every string

This heart of mine will never mend
Until I find true love, and then
It will take some time, I know that it's true
For this heart of mine to get over you

I sit here alone with my memories
Thinking of you as free as the breeze
This heart of mine cries but nobody hears
And here in my eyes are nothing but tears

This heart of mine will never mend
Until I find true love, and then
It will take some time, I know that it's true
For this heart of mine to get over you

Cowgirl In Blue

I went to the barn dance one night
To hear the fiddles and guitars play
And what I saw was quite a sight
Barn dances seem to be that way

There I met a cowgirl in blue
Waltzing with her was such a delight
And before I knew it, I knew
She stole my heart away that night

I still dream of that night when I met her
A sweet cowgirl in blue that I met
That night at the barn dance was a blur
That cowgirl in blue I'll never forget

Dark blue were the skies, light blue her eyes
Like the blue western skirt that she wore
Oh, cowgirl in blue, say you love me too
So I won't be blue anymore

There I met a cowgirl in blue
Waltzing with her was such a delight
And before I knew it, I knew
She stole my heart away that night

Dark blue were the skies, light blue her eyes
Like the blue western skirt that she wore
Oh, cowgirl in blue, say you love me too
So I won't be blue anymore

Scarlet Rose

As I lie beside the trail so weary
The only reason I have to grieve
I'm thinkin' of my darlin' cheery
Knowin' that forever her I'll leave

This scarlet rose she gave me
I've kept it like a treasured friend
Now this scarlet rose is only
Love's token as I go to meet my end

This scarlet rose I took from her hand
As I saddled up for this long trail ride
Now I only hope that she'll understand
Why I won't be returnin' to wed my bride

The trail boss said he'd tell my story
And he'd give to her my cowboy's pay
Just ask her to plant a morning glory
To remember me when I'm gone away

Soon the western sky will be dawning
I'll be as cold as the sand, I suppose
But here in my hand come the morning
They'll find a band and a scarlet rose

Sweet Annie

I see sweet Annie in the Summer sunshine
I see my darlin' in the Aspen leaves of Fall
I see sweet Annie in Winter and Springtime
And her name I hear in every starling's call

I've told the eagle in the pine tree
I've told the new-born dogies running 'round
Now I've got to tell my sweet Annie
That she's the sweetest girl I've ever found

My dreams will die if she doesn't say
That she'll be mine faithfully
I've got to ask her this very day
If she'll be mine eternally

I've told the eagle in the pine tree
I've told the new-born dogies running 'round
Now I've got to tell my sweet Annie
That she's the sweetest girl I've ever found

I see sweet Annie in the Summer sunshine

Many Years Ago

Many years ago I told you that I love you
When you placed your little hand in mine
Through the many years you've loved me too
You have always been my warm sunshine

Many years ago we built a castle
With walls so strong they never fell apart
Love withstood every kind of hassle
And our life is still a lovely work of art

Many years ago I knew, dear
That life would bring its big and heavy loads
And if it were not for you, dear
I could not have walked life's bumpy roads

Before you came I used to walk the floor
The flame of love I truly didn't know
But you came and opened up love's door
And it's the same as many years ago

Many years ago I called you sweetheart
And I still call you sweetheart now
When you're in my arms, the feeling starts
Just like the day we said our vows

Many years ago in the Springtime
I gave to you a sweet bouquet
Loving you has been the sweetest time
Many years ago just like today

Alone And Lonesome Over You

Alone and lonesome, friends are few
Where's that true love that I once knew
Mem'ries creeping in dreams I'm keeping
I'm so alone and lonesome over you

Do you remember, the way I do
That warm September, just we two
You crossed your heart, dear, we'd never part, dear
I'm so alone and lonesome over you

Alone and lonesome, you left me blue
Why'd you have to go and say adieu
I beg for your return, dear, for you I yearn, dear
I'm so alone and lonesome over you

Do you remember, the way I do
That warm September, just we two
You crossed your heart, dear, we'd never part, dear
I'm so alone and lonesome over you

Alone and lonesome, you left me blue
Why'd you have to go and say adieu
I beg for your return, dear, for you I yearn, dear

Breakin' Horses With A Broken Heart

That cowboy's broken one too many
And he brags a little too much out loud
He thinks he's still a cowboy of twenty
And I'll admit he still wows the crowd
But I can see the clouds that brand him
And I know they don't understand him

He's breakin' horses with a broken heart
Searchin' for a dream in a two bit rodeo
He won't admit that he should let her go
He's a cowboy breakin' horses with a broken heart

He's still the center of attention
Every time the rodeo comes around
But I noticed he never mentions
The reason why his tears come down
There's a cowgirl out there somewhere
That's in every broken hearted cowboy's prayer

He's breakin' horses with a broken heart
Searchin' for a dream in a two bit rodeo
He won't admit that he should let her go
He's a cowboy breakin' horses with a broken heart
A lonesome cowboy breakin' horses with a broken heart

My Texarkana Darling

I met her up in Texarkana
Underneath that Texas moon
Not far from Louisiana
Her heart and mine in tune

I tried to see her next morning
Wanted to call her my very own
Now I pine for my Texarkana darling
She went and left me all alone

Oh, moon over Texarkana
Shine over Texas clover with your light
Oh, moon over Texarkana
Where is my Texarkana darling tonight

Beam down upon her my love
Let her know I'll never go away
I'm waiting for my Texarkana dove
Begging that she'll return some day

Oh, moon over Texarkana
Shine over Texas clover with your light
Oh, moon over Texarkana
Where is my Texarkana darling tonight

Texas Blue Eyed Darlin'

She's a Texas blue eyed darlin'
Every cowboy's dream come true
And I'm gonna ask that darlin'
To be my blue eyed darlin' too

There are days when I don't see her
I wonder who else admires her smiling face
I have to tell her that I truly love her
And to not let someone else take my place

She's a Texas blue eyed darlin'
Every cowboy's dream come true
And I'm gonna ask that darlin'
To be my blue eyed darlin' too

Tonight I'll see her at the rodeo
And please may her answer be, I pray
That she doesn't love another
And in my world she'll want to stay

She's a Texas blue eyed darlin'
Every cowboy's dream come true
And I'm gonna ask that darlin'
To be my blue eyed darlin' too

Our Wedding Vow

Through wedding vows made this day
we are now man and wife
We vowed that we would honor,
love, and cherish all our life.

This humble vow of promise,
when we said the words, “I do”
Is a vow we won’t take lightly,
but a vow forever true.

Our two hearts are now as one,
joined by love sincere.
We will be faithful, loving, and true,
throughout each married year.

Sacred vows spoken this day
were heard by God above.
He heard us say, “I’ll honor, cherish,
and give you all my love”.

Loving vows recorded by angels
who gave their approving nod,
will not fail for they were made
between you, and me, and God

My Love My Friend

I never meant to love you,
It happened quite by chance.
I wanted just to be your friend,
Not to share romance.

But something happened quickly,
Before my heart could know.
I came to know a side of you,
Which caused by love to grow.

The tender way you touched me,
I pray will never end.
A miracle of circumstance,
My love....my best friend!

Moonlit Lake

I sit here by the moonlit lake
Dreaming of the past
Wondering just how cruel is fate
That our love could never last

I wish I could go back in time
And tell you how I feel
And tell you that my tenderness
And love for you was real

I sit here by the moonlit lake
Beneath our willow tree
Wondering just how cruel is fate
That our love could never be

I wish I had you in my arms
To tell you to believe
That I would always be there
That I would never leave

I sit here by the moonlit lake
Thinking through the years
Wondering just how cruel is fate
That I had caused you tears

I wish that I could have you here
No price I would not pay
Just to have you by my side
If only for a day

So I sit here by the moonlit lake
Dreaming of the past

Wondering just how cruel is fate
That our love could never last

Our Love

Our love is something we have built
From passions, hopes and dreams.
It's safe from any passing moods,
Secure from all extremes.

It's something real and special,
Something solid, something pure.
It's something we can always count on,
ringing sound and sure.

It's something grounded in the heart,
Emitting confidence.
It lives in our emotions;
It is something we can sense.

Our love remains a binding force,
Resistant to all strife.
Amidst the outer pressures,
it's our anchor throughout life.

by Bruce B. Wilmer
She's My Treasure

She's my treasure,
with whom I can share,
all the thoughts and feelings,
I wouldn't be able to bear.

My hope and my joy,
for going through this life.
Past every single problem,
and every single strife.

I love her most dear,
with all of my heart.
I will always remember,
we shall never be apart.

I'll remember her words,
those wise words she spoke.
I will always remember,
her every single joke.

Her courage and strength,
when the going got rough.
We stuck through it together,
nothing could ever be too tough.

Fear was destroyed,
by our will to achieve.
We will conquer our faults,
we will always believe.

We both believe in each other,
we will both stand together.
This is how it will be,
forever and ever!

Soul Mates

Every second I spend with you
Really is a dream come true.
When I'm with you I feel so free
I truly am as happy as can be.

When I see you my heart races
I could spot you in a million faces.
I cherish the words from you
Telling me your love is true.

My life without you would be a mess
I would be in total distress.
So I'm sending you this to say
I love you more with every day.

Soul mates we are forever and ever
Marching through life together
Until our life here on earth is done
Our two hearts will beat as one.

Speak To Me

As words fall softly from your lips
and land upon my ear;
My mind and body are caressed,
by every word I hear

When I hear your sweet voice,
my head begins to numb
For this is what you do to me,
and I like what I've become.

So speak to me my sweet,
I need to hear your voice,
I've become a slave to it,
I have no other choice.

The Beauty I See

When ever I write
my poetry
Yours is the smile
that I always see

Yours is the touch
that I miss
Yours are the lips
I long to kiss

Yours is the laughter
that I hear
For yours was the spirit
that stilled my tears

You helped me heal
in many ways
That means more to me
than I can say

So please no matter
what we do
Don't ever think
I don't love you

You are a blessing
and will always be
That which gives beauty
to all that I see

The Love of My Life

I found the love of my life
Forthright, honest and kind
With a warm personality
And her brilliant, incisive mind

With her optimistic manner
She swept me off my feet
No one else could be
So genuine, so sweet

The center of my universe
There in times of need
Encouraging, resilient
Her strength a comfort to me

I treasure our moments together
And reflect on our blessed life
My precious devoted soul mate
My loving caring wife

A SONG OF LOVE

Hey, rose, just born
Twin to a thorn;
Was’t so with you, O Love and Scorn?

Sweet eyes that smiled,
Now wet and wild:
O Eye and Tear- mother and child.

Well: Love and Pain
Be kinfolks twain;
Yet would, Oh would I could Love again

by Sidney Lanier
BECAUSE SHE WOULD ASK ME WHY I LOVED HER

If questioning would make us wise
No eyes would ever gaze in eyes;
If all our tale were told in speech
No mouths would wander each to each.

Were spirits free from mortal mesh
And love not bound in hearts of flesh
No aching breasts would yearn to meet
And find their ecstasy complete.

For who is there that lives and knows
The secret powers by which he grows?
Were knowledge all, what were our need
To thrill and faint and sweetly bleed?

Then seek not, sweet, the “If” and “Why”
I love you now until I die.
For I must love because I live
And life in me is what you give.

MY SUBURBAN GIRL

I know a sweet suburban girl,
She’s witty, bright and brief;
With dimples in her cheeks; and pearl
In rubies set, for teeth.

Beneath her glossy raven hair
There beams the hazel eye,
Bright as the star of evening there
Where the yellow sunbeams die.

Her breath is like a flower blown,
In fragrance and perfume;
Her voice seems from the blissful throne
Where their harps the angels tune.

Her waist is just a trifle more
Than a cubit in its girth;
But when there my arms I throw,
I’ve all there is of earth.

And when she turns her dimpled cheek
Toward me for a kiss,
I lose expression—cannot speak—
And take all there is of bliss.

TO A YOUNG LADY

Sweet stream that winds through yonder glade,
Apt emblem of a virtuous maid
Silent and chaste she steals along,
Far from the world’s gay busy throng:
With gentle yet prevailing force,
Intent upon her destined course;
Graceful and useful all she does,
Blessing and blest where’er she goes;
Pure-bosom’d as that watery glass,
And Heaven reflected in her face.

UNDER THE HARVEST MOON

Under the harvest moon,
When the soft silver
Drips shimmering
Over garden nights,
Death, the gray mocker,
Comes and whispers to you
As a beautiful friend
Who remembers.

Under the summer roses
When the flagrant crimson
Lurks in the dusk
Of the wild red leaves,
Love, with little hands,
Comes and touches you
With a thousand memories,
And asks you
Beautiful, unanswerable questions

MARRIAGE MORNING

Share with friends
Light, so low upon earth,
You send a flash to the sun.
Here is the golden close of love,
All my wooing is done.
Oh, the woods and the meadows,
Woods where we hid from the wet,
Stiles where we stay’d to be kind,
Meadows in which we met!

Light, so low in the vale
You flash and lighten afar,
For this is the golden morning of love,
And you are his morning start.
Flash, I am coming, I come,
By meadow and stile and wood,
Oh, lighten into my eyes and heart,
Into my heart and my blood!

Heart, are you great enough
For a love that never tires?
O’ heart, are you great enough for love?
I have heard of thorns and briers,
Over the meadow and stiles,
Over the world to the end of it
Flash for a million miles.

A VALENTINE TO MY WIFE

Accept, dear girl, this little token,
And if between the lines you seek,
You’ll find the love I’ve often spoken
The love my dying lips shall speak.

Our little ones are making merry
O’er am’rous ditties rhymed in jest,
But in these words (though awkward very)
The genuine article’s expressed.

You are as fair and sweet and tender,
Dear brown-eyed little sweetheart mine,
As when, a callow youth and slender,
I asked to be your Valentine.

What though these years of ours be fleeting?
What though the years of youth be flown?
I’ll mock old Tempus with repeating,
“I love my love and her alone!”

And when I fall before his reaping,

And when my stuttering speech is dumb,
Think not my love is dead or sleeping,
But that it waits for you to come.

So take, dear love, this little token,
And if there speaks in any line
The sentiment I’d fain have spoken,
Say, will you kiss your Valentine?

Love Like Ours Is Worth Forevermore

Dear, it's very clear to me
Nary an end do I see
Our love is not for just a day
Or just a thousand years
Hairdos and fashions of fancy clothes
Both of us agree
May just be fading fancies
And in time may disappear

However, my darling dear
Our true love won't go away
Darling, it will stay
For at least forever and a day
High mountains may crumble
For they are only made of earth
Yes darling, they are only made of earth
But love like ours is worth forevermore

Hairdos and fashions of fancy clothes
Both of us agree
May just be fading fancies
And in time may disappear

High mountains may crumble
For they are only made of earth
Yes darling, they are only made of earth

But love like ours is worth forevermore

I Can't Get Around To Getting Over You

I can't take your portrait off the bureau
And I can't take your pillow off the bed
I can't believe you no longer love me
I tell myself I don't believe a shred

I can't take the night light from the window
Dear, I keep thinking you might see its glow
I can't forget how cold the wind did blow
On that day when you said that you would go

I can't get around to getting over you
No matter what I say or what I do
And though it's bound to keep me feeling blue
I can't get around to getting over you

When you left, you said I should forget you
You said that I would find somebody else

But I can't take back vows of love so true
So I'll just put my heart upon the shelf

I can't get around to getting over you
No matter what I say or what I do
And though it's bound to keep me feeling blue
I can't get around to getting over you

I can't get around to getting over you
No matter what I say or what I do
and though it's bound to keep me feeling blue
I can't get around to getting over you

Abide Beside Me

Abide beside me, do not deny me
Abide beside me ever and a day
And darling, if you ever see me blue
Then you will know just what your love will do

For your true love will abide beside me
I know that you won't leave me all alone
Dear, I see no cloud above you
I'll forever be proud of you
And my heart you will always own

Darling, be my star and guide me along
And I'll be where you are with love so strong

Abide beside me, do not deny me
In my heart resides love I can't ignore
Our love was meant to be, yes, you and me
A love that will abide forevermore

Abide beside me, do not deny me
In my heart resides love I can't ignore

Nothing Can Replace My Love For You

These cowboy boots and front porch chair
Were in better shape yesterday
I see the thinning in my hair
Might as well throw my comb away
And this Stetson hat on my head
It has a band of sweat and grime
Things need replaced before I'm dead
Except for one that's still in prime

Nothing can replace my love for you
Because you're my everything, it's true
Darling, your sweet love makes each day new
Nothing can replace my love for you

I'll need boots and a front porch chair
In better shape than these today
Can't do nothing about my hair
Most of it's already gone grey
And this Stetson hat on my head
Well, I guess it ain't worth a dime
Things need replaced before I'm dead
Except for one that's still in prime

Nothing can replace my love for you
Because you're my everything, it's true
Darling, your sweet love makes each day new
Nothing can replace my love for you
Nothing can replace my love for you

Someday I will see you again
Someday I will see you, I know it will be you
You hold the key to my dreaming
And on that day when you I see, love will decree
My dreams you will be redeeming

No matter the weather, I'll love you forever
Past sorrows I'll be forgetting
Oh my darling, let me see you, let it be you
For there will be no regretting
Someday when I see you again

No matter the weather, I'll love you forever
Past sorrows I'll be forgetting

Someday I will see you again
Someday I will see you, I know it will be you

I Miss You

I count the hours, I count the days.
How much I miss you, I count the ways.

I miss your voice, I miss your touch.
I miss the face that I love so much.

How to describe it, there is no way.
I walk around in a permanent daze.

I long to feel your warm embrace.
And to see a smile upon your face.

I will not sleep, won't close one eye.
Until you're home, safe and alive.

Listen To Your Heart

Oh beautiful woman, give me your hand
Feel my heart beating, do you not understand
The world keeps on turning but my life stands still
To be lost in your memory is such a bitter pill

Your beauty abounds both inside and out
My chest near exploding, I just want to shout
To watch you walk by or hear your sweet voice
Transfixed by your presence, for me there's no choice

When I play with your hair or kiss your soft cheek
My whole body trembles, my knees become weak
Just being close to you means so much
A wayward glance, a gentle touch

Any excuse to fade back in time
When life was so wonderful and you were mine
God knows my heart to be good and true
It's with wisdom and hindsight that I come back to you

I know what I was and I know what I am
You make me want to be a much better man
We belong together, of this I am sure
Listen to your heart and fear me no more

Your thoughts may be hidden but the truth you can't fight
When the love burns again, just do what is right

So love me now as you loved me then
And I promise to never hurt you again

When I'm With You

When I'm with you,
eternity is a step away,
my love continues to grow,
with each passing day.

This treasure of love,
I cherish within my soul,
how much I love you...
you'll never really know.

You bring a joy to my heart,
I've never felt before,
with each touch of your hand,
I love you more and more.

Whenever we say goodbye,
whenever we part,
know I hold you dearly,
deep inside my heart.

So these seven words,
I pray you hold true,
"Forever And Always,
I Will Love You."

The Wait

It seemed
like years
before
I picked
a bouquet
of kisses
off her mouth
and put them
into a dawn-colored vase
in
my
heart.

But
the wait
was worth it.

Because
I
was
in love.

Sonnet 11: In Truth, Oh Love

In truth, oh Love, with what a boyish kind
Thou doest proceed in thy most serious ways:
That when the heav'n to thee his best displays,
Yet of that best thou leav'st the best behind.

For like a child that some fair book doth find,
With gilded leaves or colored vellum plays,
Or at the most on some find picture stays,
But never heeds the fruit of writer's mind:

So when thou saw'st in Nature's cabinet
Stella, thou straight lookst babies in her eyes,
In her cheek's pit thou didst thy pitfall set:

And in her breast bopeep or couching lies,
Playing and shining in each outward part:
But, fool, seekst not to get into her heart.

Sonnet 6: Some Lovers Speak

Some lovers speak when they their Muses entertain,
Of hopes begot by fear, of wot not what desires:
Of force of heav'nly beams, infusing hellish pain:
Of living deaths, dear wounds, fair storms, and freezing fires.

Some one his song in Jove, and Jove's strange tales attires,
Broidered with bulls and swans, powdered with golden rain;
Another humbler wit to shepherd's pipe retires,
Yet hiding royal blood full oft in rural vein.

To some a sweetest plaint a sweetest style affords,
While tears pour out his ink, and sighs breathe out his words:
His paper pale despair, and pain his pen doth move.

I can speak what I feel, and feel as much as they,
But think that all the map of my state I display,
When trembling voice brings forth that I do Stella love

An Evening Song

Look off, dear Love, across the sallow sands,
And mark yon meeting of the sun and sea,
How long they kiss in sight of all the lands.
        Ah! longer, longer, we.

Now in the sea's red vintage melts the sun,
As Egypt's pearl dissolved in rosy wine,
And Cleopatra night drinks all.  'Tis done,
Love, lay thine hand in mine.

Come forth, sweet stars, and comfort heaven's heart;
Glimmer, ye waves, round else unlighted sands.
O night! divorce our sun and sky apart
        Never our lips, our hands.

You Are The One

For you I would climb
The highest mountain peak
Swim the deepest ocean
Your love I do seek

For you I would cross
The rivers most wide
Walk the hottest desert sand
To have you by my side

For you are the one
Who makes me whole
You've captured my heart
And touched my soul

For you are the one
That stepped out of my dreams
Gave me new hope
Showed me what love means

For you alone
Are my reason to live
For the compassion you show
And the care that you give

You came into my life

And made me complete
Each time I see you
My heart skips a beat

For you define beauty
In both body and mind
Your soft, gentle face
More beauty I'll ne'er find

For you are the one
God sent from above
The angel I needed
For whom I do love

Blue Moon Light

In the quiet calm of night, we walk hand in hand.
Down the path, across the sand.
Looking into your eyes, I feel the time is right.
Standing together, beneath the blue moon light.

The wind starts to blows, trees shake.
The ocean waves begin to break.
Holding you close, I feel the time is right
Holding one another, beneath the blue moon light.

The tide rises slowly, our feet in the surf.
A star falls from heaven, on its way towards the earth.
Making a wish, I feel the time is right.
Wishing together, beneath the blue moon light.

Our time has come, we must say good-bye.
Night has fallen in the November sky.
No need to cry, for this time was right.
To fall in love, beneath the blue moon light
